New Year's and Christmas Flower Arrangements

FLORAN’s collection includes floral arrangements in boxes, hat boxes, baskets, pots and tabletop formats. Depending on the product, they may combine flowers with evergreen branches and seasonal decorations. Some designs also include candles, sweets, mandarins, other fruit or gift drinks.

What Is a Christmas Flower Arrangement?

These arrangements bring flowers and seasonal elements together as a finished display. Some are built around a container, while others are designed for placement on a table or another surface.

Christmas arrangements and Christmas and New Year bouquets can contain similar flowers, evergreen elements and seasonal decorations. The distinction lies in presentation: a bouquet presents flowers as a gathered bunch, while an arrangement is assembled as a defined display, often around a container or for placement on a surface.

What Goes Into a Christmas Flower Arrangement?

The exact combination varies by product. An arrangement may include:

• Flowers: roses, spray roses, chrysanthemums, alstroemeria, gerberas, lilies, orchids, carnations, tulips, eustomas and other flowers.
• Evergreen elements: branches of Nobilis (noble fir), spruce and pine.
• Christmas decorations: baubles, other ornaments, pinecones and seasonal decorative details.
• Candles: where they form part of the design.
• Gift additions: sweets, mandarins, other fruit or drinks.
• Presentation formats: boxes, hat boxes, baskets, pots or planters. Some arrangements are designed for tabletop display rather than being defined by a particular container.

How to Choose a Christmas Flower Arrangement

Choose by Placement

For a dining table, compare the arrangement’s height and overall footprint with the space needed for serving dishes and place settings. For a side table, console, office or reception area, check the product dimensions against the available surface and surrounding space.

Choose the Format

Boxes and hat boxes frame the flowers within a defined container, baskets and pots or planters offer alternative container styles, and tabletop arrangements sit directly on a table or another surface. Consider the format alongside where the arrangement will stand.

Choose Flowers and Decoration

Flower type and colour influence the floral emphasis, while evergreen branches and decorative elements contribute to the design’s Christmas character. Check the individual product listing to confirm which flowers and decorative elements are included.
